Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is looking for a Home Health CNA to provide in-home personal care and health-related services to maintain patients’ physical and emotional well-being.

The role includes assisting with ADLs, transfers, and household tasks, in accordance with MD state requirements. A valid MD CNA certification, driver’s license, and reliable transportation are needed; CPR is preferred or can be completed within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• MD: Requires Maryland CNA certification.
• Current CPR certification preferred or to be obtained within 90 days of hire.
• 6+ months of home health experience preferred.
• Driver's license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, denture care) in home setting.
• Perform transfers and positioning, including bed to chair or wheelchair.
• Document and report observations to supervisor as required.
• Provide safe transportation to assignments and comply with traffic rules.
• Support household tasks essential to client care as needed.
