Qualifications

• Current driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation or access to public transportation
• TX: 1 year full-time direct client care in hospital/nursing facility or last 5 years in agency setting, or approved training program
• TX: not listed on Nurse Aide Registry; no findings of abuse/neglect; no disqualifications per Health and Safety Code

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home personal care and designated health-related services
• Report observations of the client’s condition to the agency director
• Drive safely and comply with traffic regulations
• Assist with household tasks essential to personal care
• Work effectively in diverse home situations
