In-Home Child Caregiver (Nanny)

Responsibilities:

• Care for infant to school-aged children in their own homes — no transporting kids or household chores required
• Engage children in hands-on activities tailored to their interests and needs
• Ensure the safety and well-being of children in your care

Qualifications:

• Must pass required state and company background checks and meet minimum education and experience requirements
• 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED required
• Reliable transportation and a cell phone required
• At least 1 year of child care experience outside of friends and family
• Experience with children of all ages from infant to 12 years old required

Physical Requirements:

This position requires compliance with all applicable federal, state, local, Bright Horizons', and client site requirements concerning immunizations, employment physicals, screening, and health and safety training. You will work in person in the Columbia, South Carolina area, providing supervision, care, curriculum delivery, and services in accordance with Bright Horizons' policies, procedures, and applicable laws, ensuring children's safety.

Compensation:

The hourly rate is between $20.00 and $22.00. Actual offers depend on experience, education, certifications, location, and other factors.
