Job summary

BrightStar Care in Tucson, AZ is seeking caregivers to provide personal care and support to patients in their homes. You will work on a flexible schedule and are valued for delivering compassionate, quality service based on your level of experience.

The role involves assisting with hygiene, mobility, vital signs, and daily activities while adhering to care plans and safety standards. Training and support are provided by a registered nurse.

Qualifications

• Certified CPR and negative TB skin test or chest x-ray.
• Minimum one year of documented caregiver experience preferred.
• Adhere to HIPAA and maintain client confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide patients with hygiene care including bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, toileting, feeding and light housekeeping.
• Take and record vital signs, height and weight as needed.
• Assist with range of motion and document changes per plan of care.
• Create and maintain a safe environment aligned with policies and standards.

Compensation: Based on Experience $15.75/hr-$17/hr

A caregiver is a member of the dedicated care team who works under the supervision of a registered nurse and performs various personal care services as necessary to meet patient needs. Responsibilities

• Provide patients with hygiene care as directed including, but not limited to: bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, undressing, toileting activities, feeding, meal preparation, linen changes, light housekeeping
• Take and record vital signs as well as height and weight, if necessary
• Assist patients in active and passive range of motion defined by the plan of care, document observed changes, report any changes to the Director of Nursing
• Develop and promote a safe environment for quality patient care through adherence to established policies, procedures, and standards

Requirements
