Job summary

Omatochi is seeking a Caregiver to provide direct care services to clients in homes or community settings within California. You will support daily living activities, ensuring safety, respect, and adherence to care plans.

The role is field-based with variable schedule including days, evenings and weekends. Compensation ranges from $20 to $25 per hour, non-exempt, with a comprehensive benefits package and California-compliant overtime practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of caregiving or related experience.
• Ability to follow care plans and instructions.
• Reliable transportation within service area.
• Ability to pass background check and required screenings.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support services as outlined in client care plans.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living as assigned.
• Maintain a safe and respectful environment for clients.
• Arrive on time for all scheduled visits.
• Communicate promptly regarding schedule changes or emergencies.
• Complete assigned visits as scheduled.
• Accurately document services delivered using approved systems.
• Report incidents, concerns, or changes in client condition immediately.
• Follow documentation and reporting standards at all times.
• Maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality.
• Communicate respectfully with clients, families, and team members.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
