Job summary

Home Matters Caregiving is seeking a dedicated Caregiver in Seneca, SC to help clients stay safe, comfortable, and independent at home. You will assist with daily living activities, provide personal care, prepare meals, and support clients and families with compassionate in-home care.

Requirements include being 21+, 2+ years of caregiving, SC residency, First Aid, and passing background and drug screens. We offer weekly pay, mileage reimbursement, training, holiday pay, and a sign-on stipend

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Minimum 2 years of caregiving experience (home care or facility-based).
• Must reside in South Carolina.
• First Aid certification required per DHEC (paid training provided).
• Must pass background check and drug screening.

Join our team at Home Matters Caregiving, a caregiver-focused, in-home care agency serving seniors and adults throughout Clemson, Pickens, Oconee, and surrounding Upstate South Carolina communities. We prioritize strong communication, consistent support, and long-term relationships with our caregivers. As a Caregiver, you will play a critical role in helping clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their homes.

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
• Provide personal care including hygiene, grooming, and mobility assistance
• Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping and laundry
• Offer companionship and emotional support
• Monitor client safety and report changes to the care team
• Follow individualized care plans and document daily activities

Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Minimum 2 years of caregiving experience (home care or facility-based)
• Must reside in South Carolina
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance
• First Aid certification required per DHEC (paid training provided if needed)
• Must pass background check and drug screening
• Dependable, punctual, and professional
• Able to meet the physical demands of caregiving, including lifting up to 50 lbs

Compensation & Benefits:

• Starting pay: $17.00 per hour
• Opportunity for pay increases based on experience, availability, and performance
