Job summary

Home Matters Caregiving is seeking dependable, compassionate caregivers to provide high-quality, client-centered in-home care in Clemson, Pickens, Oconee, and nearby Upstate communities. You will help seniors and adults stay safe, comfortable, and independent in their homes.

The role offers flexible full-time or part-time shifts (12 hours) with weekly pay, paid orientation and training, mileage reimbursement, and opportunities for pay increases based on experience and performance.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of caregiving experience is preferred.
• Ability to assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and mobility needs.
• Must be at least 21 years old and reside in South Carolina.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with ADLs and personal care.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping and laundry.
• Monitor client safety and report changes to the care team.
• Follow care plans and document daily activities.

Caregiver – Starting at $17/hr

• Pay: Starting at $17.00 per hour (opportunity for increase based on experience, availability, and performance)
• Schedule: Full-time & Part-time | Flexible shifts available | 12-hour shifts / 36-hour week preferred

Job Summary

We are seeking dependable, compassionate caregivers who are committed to providing high-quality, client-centered care. Our caregivers play a critical role in helping clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their homes.

What You’ll Do

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
• Provide personal care including hygiene, grooming, and mobility assistance
• Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping and laundry
• Offer companionship and emotional support
• Monitor client safety and report changes to the care team
• Follow individualized care plans and document daily activities

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Minimum 1 years of caregiving experience (home care or facility-based)
• Must reside in South Carolina
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance
• First Aid certification required per DHEC (paid training provided if needed)
• Must pass background check and drug screening
• Dependable, punctual, and professional
• Able to meet the physical demands of caregiving, including lifting up to 50 lbs
