A First Name Basis (AFNB) is seeking compassionate in-home caregivers to support seniors and individuals with disabilities across Louisiana. This role involves providing personal care, companionship, light housekeeping, and transportation to appointments in the service area.

We offer flexible scheduling (afternoons, weekdays, weekends) with competitive hourly pay and mileage reimbursement. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass pre-employment screenings: background check, drug screen, MVR.
• Willingness to complete background checks and onboarding requirements.
• A kind heart and a positive attitude, with compassion and professionalism.

Aufgaben

• Provide personal care support (bathing, grooming, dressing, oral hygiene, toileting).
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Light housekeeping and meal preparation; assist with feeding.
• Medication reminders and accompany clients to appointments.
• Travel reliably to patient homes and assigned visits.
• Transport clients to appointments and errands using a personal vehicle.
• Document care provided according to standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe client environment.
• Follow safety procedures and use equipment properly.
