Job summary

A First Name Basis (AFNB) is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide in-home support in the Haughton area. Duties include personal care, companionship, meal prep, and transportation assistance for clients in Louisiana. The role requires traveling to client homes, documentation of care, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards. Flexible shifts and competitive pay with overtime are available.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to travel to client homes for visits.
• Ability to pass pre-employment screenings (background, drug, MVR).

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care support (bathing, grooming, dressing, oral hygiene).
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Light housekeeping and meal preparation; assist with feeding as needed.
