Job summary

Village Caregiving is seeking an in-home caregiver in Two Harbors, MN for a part-time, hourly role. You will provide companionship, assist with daily living activities, and work independently in clients’ homes.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, 18+ years old, background check, valid driver's license, and ability to work independently. Training is provided and ongoing support is offered to maintain high-quality care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Clear background check and drug screen.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Compassionate, patient and empathetic attitude.
• Ability to work independently.
• Basic knowledge of personal care, hygiene, and nutrition.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home care and support with personal hygiene, meal prep, light housekeeping and transportation.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care.
• Observe and report changes in client condition to supervisor.
• Use electronic timekeeping to clock in/out and submit documentation.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families and healthcare professionals.
• Adhere to safety and infection control protocols.
