Job summary

inHom Senior Care in Prior Lake, Minnesota is seeking a part-time caregiver to provide compassionate in-home support to seniors in your community. You will assist with daily activities, offer companionship, and help clients maintain independence in the comfort of their home.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
• Willingness to work alone unsupervised in clients' homes.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Must reside in Dakota, Scott, Rice, or Carver counties.
• Compassionate nature and a genuine desire to help others (no professional caregiving experience required).
• Dependability and punctuality with a strong sense of responsibility.
• Good communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
• Previous caregiving experience is a plus but not required; we provide all necessary training.

Responsibilities

• Personal Care Assistance: Aid clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming to promote independence.
• Meal Preparation: Prepare meals according to clients' preferences, including planning and grocery shopping.
• Light Housekeeping: Assist with housekeeping, laundry, and changing linens to ensure a safe and comfortable environment.
• Companionship: Engage clients in social interactions to keep them connected and cared for in the comfort of their home.
• Transportation: Provide transportation and escort clients to medical appointments and social engagements.
