Job summary

Family Resource Home Care in The Dalles, OR is seeking compassionate caregivers to help clients with daily living activities. We offer flexible Monday–Friday daytime shifts (7am–6pm), driving potential, and entry to paid training. You will be supported by a team and matched to clients based on your availability and preferences.

No experience? We train you. Requirements include 18+, ability to pass background checks, valid driver's license, auto insurance, and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• Ability to complete state-required caregiver training as needed

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (household chores, cooking, bathing, grooming)
• Provide companionship and support through daily activities and hobbies
• Drive clients to stores or appointments as needed
• Monitor and report on clients' condition

Come join our team in The Dalles! We also support Hood River and surrounding areas. Looking for those available Monday to Friday daytime shifts 7a-6pm with flexible scheduling! Driving is a plus (must have DL, care and auto insurance in your name)

Caregiver Job Duties

Our caregivers support their clients in activities of daily living such as (but not limited to):

• Household chores (cleaning, laundry, dishes, etc.)
• Cooking and/or serving meals
• Helping clients bathe, dress, and groom
• Providing companionship through daily activities and hobbies
• Driving clients (as needed) to the store or appointments
• Monitoring and reporting on their condition

Additional Information

• If you have not previously completed the state-required 8-hour Home Care Pulse caregiver training, you will be required to complete the training along with the nurse-led medication training before you can work with clients. You will be paid to complete both trainings!
