Job summary

Golden Rule Services in Ord, NE seeks compassionate Caregivers to provide in-home support for seniors and individuals, promoting independence and comfort in their own homes.

You will assist with ADLs, provide companionship, prepare meals, light housekeeping, and monitor health changes, while following care plans with professionalism and confidentiality.

Flexible scheduling and opportunities for both full-time and part-time roles with ongoing training are available.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, patient, and dependable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license (if required).
• Background checks will be conducted.
• Previous caregiving experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, respectful care while promoting client dignity.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and personal hygiene.
• Provide companionship, conversation, and emotional support.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry for a safe home.
• Provide medication reminders per the care plan.
• Observe and report changes in clients' condition.
• Maintain confidentiality and accurate documentation.
• Communicate with clients, family, and healthcare professionals.
• Follow care plans with integrity, reliability, and accountability.
