Job summary

Golden Rule Services in Nebraska seeks compassionate caregivers to join our in-home care team, helping seniors maintain independence in their own homes. You will provide personalized support, companionship, and assistance with daily living activities in a respectful, professional manner.

Responsibilities include ADLs, meal prep, light housekeeping, medication reminders, and clear communication with families and healthcare professionals.

Qualifications

• Compassionate and dependable caregiver with strong communication.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license if required.
• Must be able to pass required background checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, respectful, and professional care while promoting client dignity and independence.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and personal hygiene.
• Provide companionship, conversation, and emotional support.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed.
• Light housekeeping and laundry to maintain a safe, clean home environment.
• Provide medication reminders per care plan and document changes as needed.
• Observe, report, and communicate changes in client condition to family and healthcare professionals.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow individualized care plans with integrity and accountability.
