Job summary

Visiting Angels Greenville & Anderson, SC is hiring In Home Aides, including CNAs and experienced caregivers, to serve Dorchester, Berkeley and Charleston Counties. The role offers part-time shifts, with days, evenings, weekends, and overnights available.

A HS diploma is required, plus a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle. Prior in-home caregiving experience is preferred, and compensation ranges from $15.00 to $17.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must have good communication and active listening skills.
• Must be able to stay calm in emergent situations and inform staff of changes.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license, working vehicle, commuting required and current, up-to-date insurance
• Must adhere to plans of care for client
• Must have flexibility with schedules per client needs
• One year of in-home, caregiver experience preferred
• Must have good communication skills, have active listening, between clients/families and staff
• Must be able to be calm in emergent situations and inform staff of any changes to client status
• Pass background and drug screening

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility

Skills

• One year proven experience as a in-home caregiver (Preferred)
• Knowledge and demonstration of DME such as hoyer lift, wheelchairs, transfer bench, walker/training is available
• Excellent knowledge of emergency response, CPR preferred
• Knowledge of housekeeping activities
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
• Respectful and compassionate
• Good time management skills
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
