Job summary

Visiting Angels Greenville & Anderson, SC is seeking in‑home aides (CNAs and experienced caregivers) to provide personal one‑on‑one care in Dorchester, Berkeley, and Charleston Counties. Work part‑time on days, evenings, weekends, or overnight shifts while supporting seniors to live independently at home.

Responsibilities include mobility assistance, medication reminders, personal care, meal prep, light housekeeping, transportation, and companionship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• One year in-home caregiver experience preferred.
• Must have good communication and active listening with clients and families.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license, working vehicle, commuting required and current, up‑to‑date insurance
• Must adhere to plans of care for the client
• Must have flexibility with schedules per client needs
• One year of in‑home, caregiver experience preferred
• Must have good communication skills, active listening between clients/families and staff
• Must be calm in emergent situations and inform staff of any changes to client status
• Pass background and drug screening

Skills

• One year proven experience as an in‑home caregiver (preferred)
• Knowledge and demonstration of DME such as hoyer lift, wheelchairs, transfer bench, walker (training is available)
• Excellent knowledge of emergency response, CPR preferred
• Knowledge of housekeeping activities
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
• Respectful and compassionate
• Good time management skills
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
