Visiting Angels of Bettendorf is hiring caregivers to serve our treasured clients throughout the Quad Cities area, including Eldridge. As an In Home Housekeeper or Caregiver, you’ll support clients with daily living and wellness according to care plans, with flexible schedules and opportunities for growth.

Duties include personal care, light housekeeping, meal prep, companionship, and mobility assistance. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required, with training available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license, car insurance, and a reliable vehicle to transport clients.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• First Aid and emergency response training is required (provided if needed).
• Reliable transportation to client homes at scheduled times.
• Comfort with housekeeping and cooking per dietary constraints.

Responsabilités

• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Help with light physical exercise or walks.
• Plan and prepare meals with clients.
• Perform light housekeeping and cooking.
• Report health changes or emergencies.
• Provide companionship and support.
• Accompany clients to shopping trips.
• Remind clients to take medications.
• Support mobility at home and during appointments.
