Visiting Angels in the Quad Cities area is hiring a Housekeeper and Companion Caregiver to support seniors at home. This role offers flexible shifts and opportunities to make a meaningful difference in clients' daily lives.

Responsibilities include light housekeeping, personal care, meal planning, transportation support, medication reminders, and companionship. A high school diploma and reliable transportation are required; a valid driver's license is a must.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent time-management skills.
• Reliable transportation to client visits.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with basic housekeeping and cooking tasks.
• Must pass a background check and drug screen.
• Training/knowledge in First Aid and emergency response.
• Heart for caring for vulnerable people and providing companionship.
• Willingness to comply with health and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Help clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Manage light housekeeping tasks.
• Encourage clients to meet exercise and fitness goals.
• Prompt clients to take medications at the right times.
• Assist with shopping or groceries and put them away.
• Plan and prepare meals in collaboration with clients.
• Assist with mobility and accompany clients to appointments.
