Visiting Angels of Bettendorf is hiring caregivers to serve Quad Cities area clients, including Eldridge and surrounding towns. Earn $14.00-$16.00 per hour with flexible schedules, and opportunities for growth. Must have a valid driver’s license, car insurance, and dependable vehicle.

Qualifications

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Possess a Valid Driver's License, car insurance, and a reliable personal vehicle to transport clients.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must.
• First Aid/EMT training or similar emergency training is preferred or required.
• Excellent time-management skills and ability to juggle multiple duties.
• Reliable transportation to client homes at scheduled times.
• Comfort with housekeeping and cooking duties and adherence to dietary constraints.
• Willingness to comply with state and office health and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Help clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Assist clients with light physical activity or walking.
• Plan and prepare meals with clients.
• Handle light housekeeping duties.
• Report health changes or unusual incidents.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Respond quickly to emergencies and safety concerns.
• Accompany and supervise clients during shopping trips.
• Remind clients to take medications as prescribed.
• Assist with mobility and errands as needed.
