Job summary

Visiting Angels Bettendorf is hiring At Home Caregivers to serve clients across the Quad Cities, including Davenport. Competitive wages, flexible schedules, and growth opportunities are available.

As an At Home Caregiver, you will support clients with personal care, meal prep, light housekeeping, companionship, and transportation as needed. Training in dementia/Alzheimer’s care is available to expand your skillset.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License, car insurance and a reliable personal vehicle to transport clients.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• First Aid training and emergency response knowledge required.
• Good time-management and ability to juggle duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Assist with light exercise or walks.
• Plan and prepare meals with clients.
• Perform light housekeeping duties.
• Report health changes or incidents.
• Provide companionship and support.
• Respond to emergencies.
• Accompany and supervise clients during shopping trips.
• Remind clients to take medications.
• Support mobility and accompany appointments.
