Visiting Angels Springfield is hiring an In Home Caregiver - Housekeeper for the Mount Olive area. Earn $16-$20/hour with weekly pay, a $400 sign-on bonus, and mileage reimbursement for travel. Flexible shifts include full-time, part-time, PRN, weekdays, nights, and weekends.

Shifts vary from 1 to 12 hours and you can create your own schedule. The role supports seniors with daily living tasks and offers benefits like paid orientation, time off, and access to training in dementia/Alzheimer’s

Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication.
• Assist with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside.

• Shop for groceries or accompany clients shopping.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks.
• Provide a pleasant, supportive companionship.
• Report any unusual incidents.
• Act quickly and responsibly in emergencies.

In Home Caregiver - Housekeeper Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.)
• Assist clients with personal care and hygieneHelp clients with routine exercises
• Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are able)
• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion
• Report any unusual incidents
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
