Visiting Angels Richardson is seeking an In Home Caregiver - Housekeeper to assist seniors in North Texas with light housekeeping, meals, mobility support, and companionship. The role emphasizes compassionate care and a community-focused approach in Richardson and surrounding areas.

Shift options include various full-time/part-time slots, with training available in dementia and Alzheimer’s care to grow your skills while serving families in need.

Qualifications

• Passion to serve others and provide compassionate care.
• Valid Driver's License and safe driving ability.
• Minimum 2 years of home or elder care experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.)
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Help clients with routine exercises
• Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are able)
• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion
• Report any unusual incidents
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
