Job summary

Safe Life Home Healthcare in Gilberts, IL seeks an In Home Caregiver for hourly, full-time live-in or hourly positions. The caregiver will provide attentive in-home support, assist with daily activities, and help maintain client independence in DuPage County and surrounding areas.

The role emphasizes compassion, reliability, and strong communication as you support clients with personal care, meal prep, medication reminders, and safe home care.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
CNA certification preferred.
Experience caregiving especially with elderly clients preferred.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work independently.
Reliable, compassionate, dedicated to client well-being.

Responsibilities

Assist with personal care, hygiene, and companionship. Support daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, meal prep, and medication reminders.
Perform light housekeeping, run errands, and provide transportation as needed.
Monitor and report changes in the client’s condition to the healthcare team.
Maintain a safe, positive, and supportive home environment.
