Job summary

Elara Caring is seeking compassionate caregivers to support clients in their homes. Most visits are 1–3 hours, with opportunities to visit multiple clients per day.

Pay ranges from $20.00 to $22.58 per hour, based on certification and experience. Availability is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–6:00 PM. Full-time hours may not be available immediately, with benefits including training, scheduling flexibility, and health coverage.

Qualifications

• Certification at least one caregiver level (Homemaker, Personal Care, HHA/CNA) is required.
• Reliable personal transportation is required.
• Comfortable traveling between client homes for short visits.
• Previous caregiving experience is preferred.
• Massachusetts Homemaker or related certifications are relevant.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and household support.
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation.
• Grocery shopping and client errands with mileage reimbursement.
• Assist with personal care, grooming, and dressing.
• Provide in-home care including bathing for qualified caregivers.

Education

Homemaker training certificate
