Job summary

Happier At Home – Northeast Iowa is hiring an In-Home Senior Caregiver to help seniors stay safe, comfortable, and independent at home. You will provide companionship, assist with personal care, prepare meals, and support daily activities alongside a dedicated care team.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, patient, and reliable individuals preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening.
• At least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
• Provide medication reminders and assist with mobility and transfers.
• Accompany clients to appointments and run errands.
• Monitor and report changes in client condition.
• Maintain documentation and communication with the care team.
