Job summary

AAA Advantage Home Care in Niles, MI is seeking compassionate in-home caregivers to support older adults and disabled family members in their own homes. No prior certification or experience is required, making it accessible to dedicated helpers while pay starts at 17.50 per hour.

You’ll assist with daily activities, meals, safety, and companionship, coordinating with family and healthcare providers to ensure the best possible care in a respectful, private setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (caregiving training or certification is a plus).
• Understanding of caregiving challenges, both physical and emotional.
• Basic first aid and CPR knowledge is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Help your loved one with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and using the restroom.
• Prepare nourishing meals and offer feeding assistance when necessary.
• Keep their living space clean, safe, and comfortable.
• Be a steady source of companionship and emotional encouragement.
• Notice and share any changes in their health or mood with healthcare professionals.
• Work together with other family members and care providers to ensure they receive the best possible support.
