Job summary

Right at Home Northwest Suburban Chicago is hiring professional caregivers to support seniors and adults with disabilities in clients' homes. The role offers independent work with strong office support, competitive hourly pay, and a comprehensive benefits package.

We provide biweekly wages with option to access earned wages early, ongoing training, and a commitment to dignity, reliability, and quality care. Pay ranges from $18–$21 per hour, with benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of professional caregiving experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
• Passion for helping seniors and adults with disabilities.
• Reliable transportation.
• Patience, compassion, and strong communication skills.
• Ability to assist with transfers and mobility.
• Experience with memory care or cognitive impairments.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, meals)
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Monitor client health and document changes
• Assist with mobility and physical activities
• Administer medications as directed
• Engage clients with memory care activities and routines
• Perform light housekeeping to maintain a safe home environment
• Work closely with healthcare teams to implement care plans
• Provide specialized care for hospice and group home settings
