Right at Home Northwest Suburban is seeking professional caregivers to provide in-home care to seniors and disabled adults in the Northwest Suburban Chicago area. Caregivers work independently in clients' homes but are supported by an engaged office team, with a focus on dignity and safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of professional caregiving experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
• Passion for helping seniors and adults with disabilities.
• Reliable transportation.
• Patience, compassion, and strong communication skills.
• Ability to assist with transfers and mobility.
• Experience with memory care or cognitive impairments.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, meals).
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Monitor client health and document changes.
• Assist with mobility and physical activities.
• Administer medications as directed.
• Engage clients with memory care activities and routines.
• Perform light housekeeping to maintain a safe home environment.
• Work closely with healthcare teams to implement care plans.
• Provide specialized care for hospice and group home settings.
