Job summary

Assisting Hands of Orland Park is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to provide custodial and personal care services in clients' homes. You will work under the Staffing Coordinator and align with each client’s personalized Plan of Care to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living space, enabling clients to live independently.

You will assist with daily personal care, mobility, nutrition, and monitoring of health, while adhering to infection control protocols and company policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• At least one year of experience in a home care, long-term care, or similar setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a Clean & Safe Environment by performing light housekeeping and maintaining a hygienic living space.
• Provide Personal Care & Assistance including hygiene, grooming, dressing, and mobility support as outlined in the Plan of Care.
• Provide Nutritional Support through meal preparation, serving, and ensuring dietary needs are met.
• Monitor Client Health & Well-Being by observing changes and documenting care activities and health metrics.
• Support Mobility & Physical Activities with mobility aids and prescribed exercises.
• Infection Control & Compliance by following CDC guidelines and internal policies.
