Assisting Hands of Orland Park is seeking an in-home Caregiver to provide compassionate, dependable care to clients in their homes. You will support personal care, daily living activities, mobility, meals and light housekeeping under the supervision of the Care Manager.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and prefer at least 1 year of home care experience, with strong communication and caregiving skills. The role offers flexible scheduling and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in home care, assisted living, or a related healthcare setting preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and caregiving skills.
• Compassionate, dependable and respectful approach to client care.
• Ability to follow care plans, company policies and safety procedures.

Responsabilités

• Clean and maintain a safe home environment, including cleaning bathrooms, kitchens and common areas.
• Assist with activities of daily living, mobility, meals, and light household tasks.
• Prepare meals according to client preferences and dietary needs.
• Observe changes in client condition and report to Care Manager or Staffing Coordinator.
• Document care provided accurately and on time.
• Support safe mobility and fall-prevention practices; assist with transfers.
