Job summary

Assisting Hands Home Care is seeking a compassionate caregiver to provide in-home support for clients needing assistance with personal care and daily activities. You will follow each client’s Plan of Care to maintain a safe, clean home and promote independence and dignity.

You will assist with ADLs, meals, mobility, and reporting changes to the Care Manager, all while upholding infection prevention and agency policies. Flexible schedules offered based on client needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of home care/healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a Clean, Safe, and Comfortable Home.
• Assist with Personal Care and Daily Activities (ADLs, bathing, grooming, transfers).
• Support Meal Preparation and Nutritional Needs (plan/serve meals).
• Observe and Report Changes in Client Condition (monitor health, document care).
• Assist With Mobility and Physical Activities (use of mobility devices, ROM exercises).
• Maintain Infection Prevention and Follow Agency Policies (hand hygiene, CDC guidelines).
