Village Caregiving in Shawano, WI is hiring dependable, compassionate in-home caregivers to assist seniors and veterans in the local community. We welcome applicants with or without prior caregiving experience and provide paid training and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Previous caregiving experience is preferred but not required.
• Current CPR certification is preferred; certification can be obtained through our training process.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene.
• Providing mobility and walking assistance inside and outside the home.
• Offering medication reminders
• Preparing meals and assisting with feeding when needed
• Performing light housekeeping, laundry, and other household tasks
• Assisting with shopping and transportation to appointments when needed
• Helping clients complete physical therapy exercises and other recommended activities
• Communicating with clients, family members, and office staff regarding care needs and changes in condition
• Keeping accurate records of hours worked, services provided, and required care notes
• Reporting unusual changes or concerns to the appropriate office staff
• Responding appropriately and responsibly in emergency situations
