Job summary

BrightStar Care of Grosse Pointe & Southeast Macomb, MI is hiring dedicated Caregivers to provide in-home care for seniors and older adults. We offer flexible hours, competitive pay, and a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, companionship, mobility support, and transportation to appointments. CNA preferred but not required; CPR and TB testing available; driver’s license and reliable car encouraged.

Qualifications

• CNA preferred but not required; Home Health Aide welcome.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR certification and a negative TB test required (we assist with obtaining).
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation and auto insurance.
• Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
• Physical ability to assist with mobility (up to 50 lbs).

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, mobility, and transfers.
• Provide companionship and emotional support; accompany clients to appointments, shopping, and errands.
• Support mobility exercises as outlined in the care plan.
• Monitor and report changes in client condition to the Director of Nursing.
