BrightStar Care of Grosse Pointe and Southeast Macomb, MI is hiring Caregivers to join our in‑home care team. You will provide compassionate support to seniors in their homes, helping with personal care, mobility, errands, and companionship on a flexible schedule.

We offer competitive pay ($15.50–$23.25/hour), a generous benefits package, paid time off, weekly pay, mileage reimbursement, and paid in‑house training with a Director of Nursing.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care such as bathing, dressing, ambulation, and transfers
• Accompany clients to the grocery store, doctor appointments, and pharmacy visits
• Assist clients with active and passive mobility work defined by the plan of care, and document observed changes to the Director of Nursing

Requirements

• CNA preferred but not required; Home Health Aide will be considered
• High school diploma or GED
• Certified CPR and a negative TB skin test or chest x‑ray (we will help you obtain these if you don’t have them)
• Licensed driver with insured and reliable automobile and proof of insurance
• Adhere to HIPAA and maintain client confidentiality
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English and communicate effectively
• Must be able to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push, and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the client’s mobility. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
