Job summary

Altra Homecare Group is seeking compassionate, independent caregivers to join our team as a PCA, HHA, CNA, or those with no prior experience. You will provide essential personal care services in clients' homes, assist with daily living tasks, medication reminders, mobility support, and light housekeeping.

Maintain thorough documentation, follow privacy policies and infection control guidelines, and report significant changes to your supervisor.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Possess a valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance.
• Ability to read, follow written instructions, and document care provided.
• Comply with training requirements as per State and Federal laws.

Responsibilities

• Assist with client laundry as needed
• Provide medication reminders
• Ensure client safety
• Report significant changes in the client's condition directly to their supervisor
• Prepare light meals and assist with client feeding when required
• Monitor and record client temperature
• Assist client's with ambulation
• Conduct range of motion exercises and other simple physical activities
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and adhere to care protocols
• Follow privacy policies and infection control guidelines
• Offer bathing assistance
• Perform light housekeeping
• Provide companion services, including letter-writing and reading
