Job summary

Right at Home Indianapolis Southeast, IN is growing its in-home care team and seeking compassionate, dependable caregivers to support seniors and adults with disabilities across the greater Indianapolis area, including Hamilton County. You’ll help clients stay safe and comfortable at home based on an established Plan of Care, performing ADLs like hygiene, mobility, dressing, feeding, and engagement, plus meal prep.

Light homemaking such as vacuuming and laundry may be required.

Qualifications

• Verbal communication and listening skills.
• Ability to promote and maintain a safe environment.
• Dependability.
• Possess a valid driver's license and have use of an insured automobile or access to adequate transportation for the job.
• Communicate effectively with office staff on a weekly basis.
• Must be willing to follow all company policies and take direction from office staff.

Responsibilities

• You'll help clients stay safe and comfortable at home based on an established Plan of Care.
• ADLs (care + support) may include: Hygiene support, Mobility/ambulation support, Dressing and grooming, Feeding assistance, Engagement/companionship, Meal prep per instructions.
• Light homemaking may include: Vacuuming, dusting, sweeping/mopping, Dishes, Changing bed linens, Laundry, Bathroom cleaning.
