Job summary

AAA Advantage Home Care in Port Huron, MI is hiring in-home caregivers to support families in need. You will care for a loved one at home while earning $17.50 per hour, with no prior certification or experience required.

You will assist with daily activities, prepare meals, keep the living space safe and comfortable, and provide companionship. Flexible scheduling and biweekly pay are offered, with opportunity for part-time or full-time work.

Qualifications

• Must be currently providing hands-on care for a family member in need.
• High school diploma or equivalent; caregiving training or certification is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient personality.
• Ability to stay calm in stressful moments and maintain confidentiality.
• Basic first aid knowledge is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Help with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and restroom needs.
• Prepare nourishing meals and assist with feeding when necessary.
• Keep living space clean, safe, and comfortable.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Notice and report health or mood changes to healthcare professionals.
• Coordinate with other family members and care providers to optimize care.
