Job summary

AAA Advantage Home Care is hiring in-home caregivers in Scotts, MI and the surrounding area to provide daily assistance to a loved one. Pay starts at $17.50 per hour, with biweekly pay and flexible scheduling. No prior certification or experience is required.

This in-person, in-home caregiver position offers part-time or full-time hours and access to caregiving resources and training to support you and your family.

Qualifications

• You're currently providing hands-on care for a family member.
• High school diploma or equivalent (caregiving training or certification is a plus)
• Understanding of the challenges, both physical and emotional, that come with caregiving
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient personality
• Able to stay calm in stressful moments and maintain confidentiality
• Basic first aid and CPR knowledge is a bonus

Responsibilities

• Help your loved one with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and using the restroom
• Prepare nourishing meals and offer feeding assistance when necessary
• Keep their living space clean, safe, and comfortable
• Be a steady source of companionship and emotional encouragement
• Notice and share any changes in their health or mood with healthcare professionals
• Work together with other family members and care providers to ensure they receive the best possible support
