Job summary

HomeCare Advocacy Network (HCAN) in Southwest Iowa seeks compassionate individuals to join our In-Home Caregiver team to support clients in their own homes. You will provide non-medical care, meaningful companionship, and help with daily activities to promote safety, independence, and dignity.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must have auto insurance.
• Must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel locally.

Responsibilities

• Provide meaningful companionship and emotional support
• Assist with light housekeeping and laundry
• Drive or accompany clients to errands, appointments, or activities
• Offer medication reminders (non-clinical)
• Support with bathing, hygiene, and mobility
• Prepare meals and assist with dietary needs
• Ensure home safety and fall prevention
• Offer respite care for family caregivers
