HomeCare Advocacy Network (HCAN) is seeking compassionate individuals to become In-Home Caregivers in the Southwest Iowa area. You will provide non-medical support and companionship, helping clients stay independent and safe in their own homes.

Role emphasizes honoring client dignity with flexible scheduling, paid weekly, and ongoing training. Ideal for caring individuals who want meaningful, locally focused work and opportunities for growth within HCAN.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must have auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide meaningful companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with light housekeeping and laundry.
• Drive or accompany clients to errands, appointments, or activities.
• Offer medication reminders (non-clinical).
• Support with bathing, hygiene, and mobility.
• Prepare meals and assist with dietary needs.
• Ensure home safety and fall prevention.
• Offer respite care for family caregivers.
