Job summary

Agape at Home in Tucson, AZ provides compassionate, non-medical in-home care to help clients maintain independence and dignity. We seek caring caregivers to support daily living, meals, mobility, and safety in clients’ homes.

You will monitor health, assist with ADLs, provide companionship, and coordinate with healthcare professionals to implement care plans. A patient-centered, respectful approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in home health, senior care, assisted living, or long-term care settings preferred.
• Knowledge of first aid, CPR, HIPAA regulations, and patient monitoring essential.
• Familiarity with caregiving tasks such as meal prep, medication administration, and cleaning duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Provide personal care including assistance with mobility and transferring using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary.
• Monitor and document vital signs and changes in client health status.
• Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary requirements and preferences.
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment through regular cleaning and tidying of the home.
• Administer medications as prescribed and ensure adherence to care plans.
• Offer companionship and engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being.
• Support clients with memory care, including those with Alzheimer's or dementia, through patient observation and tailored activities.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement effective care strategies for individuals with developmental disabilities or autism.

Home Care Caregiver

• Ability to perform heavy lifting when required and assist clients in physical mobility tasks.
