Job summary

Visiting Angels of Central Maryland is hiring compassionate in-home caregivers to provide one-on-one support for seniors in clients' homes. Pay starts at $18/hour with overtime opportunities and short shifts up to $25/hour.

Flexible scheduling includes both full-time and part-time openings to fit your needs. New hires may receive CNA tuition reimbursement, same-day pay options, overtime/holiday pay, a 401(k) with company match, and transportation support via Uber where available.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old
• 6+ months professional caregiving experience or family caregiving experience or active CNA I/II certification
• Valid driver's license and insured personal vehicle (in most areas)
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
• Current CPR certification
• Current negative TB test results

Responsibilities

• Assist with ADLs (bathing, dressing, toileting/incontinence care, meal prep, medication reminders, laundry, and light housekeeping)
• Provide companionship and meaningful, respectful conversation
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment
• Demonstrate kindness, professionalism, and reliability on every shift
• Communicate clearly with clients, families, and agency staff
