Job summary

Visiting Angels of Central Maryland is hiring in-home caregivers to provide compassionate, one-on-one care to seniors in their homes across the Maryland area. Starting pay is $18 per hour with overtime opportunities up to $25 per hour, offering flexibility through both full-time and part-time opportunities.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old.
• 6+ months professional caregiving experience or family caregiving experience or active CNA I/II certification.
• Valid driver’s license and insured personal vehicle.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
• Current CPR certification.
• Current negative TB test results.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ADLs (bathing, dressing, toileting, meal prep, medication reminders, light housekeeping).
• Provide companionship and meaningful conversation.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
• Demonstrate kindness, professionalism, and reliability on every shift.
• Communicate clearly with clients, families, and agency staff.
