Job summary

CareLinx by Sharecare is hiring experienced in-home caregivers to support health plan members and private clients in Bethalto, IL. This is a part-time/per-diem, 1099 contractor role where you set your availability in the CareLinx app and get matched to clients that fit your schedule and skills.

You control how much you work while we handle the referrals and onboarding. You will perform non-clinical caregiving tasks, assist with daily living activities, document care via the CareLinx app, and

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of caregiving experience, OR relevant education/certification (CNA, HHA, MA, or equivalent)
• Access to a smartphone capable of running the CareLinx app (required for scheduling, documentation, and timesheets)
• Ability to communicate in English (bilingual caregivers strongly encouraged to apply)
• Reliable transportation to and from client homes
• Must pass a background check
• Program-specific requirements (may apply depending on assignment)
• Completion of program-specific training prior to accepting shifts
• Medical clearance such as TB test, physical exam, or drug screening
• Valid driver's license and MVR check if accepting driving shifts
• Additional documentation may be required based on state law or client contract

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs): companionship, meal prep, mobility support, bathing/grooming/dressing, medication reminders (non-clinical), and light housekeeping
• Complete and document all care tasks accurately in the CareLinx mobile app during each shift
• Monitor and report changes in a client’s condition or self-care abilities to the CareLinx clinical team
• Submit timesheets on time through the CareLinx app
• Communicate with your CarePartner regarding any case updates or client changes
• Ensure patient privacy, dignity, and well-being in a safe and secure environment
• Maintain client confidentiality at all times
• Additional shift opportunities (based on client needs): transportation and errand support
• Hospital discharge escort — safely accompanying members home after discharge
• Telehealth navigation — helping members connect with virtual doctor visits
