Job summary

AmeriCare Plus in Virginia is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA), Nursing Assistants (NA) and Personal Care Aides (PCA) to provide compassionate, in-home personal care to clients in their own homes. Flexible schedules (FT/PT/PRN) with up to 40 hours weekly, weekly pay and benefits available.

You will assist with hygiene, mobility, meals, medication reminders, and companionship, while ensuring safety and reporting health changes.

Qualifications

• CNA, NA or PCA certification required (online training provided for PCA).
• Valid Virginia driver's license and reliable transportation.
• SS card and 2 professional references.
• Compassionate, patient and dependable.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal hygiene, grooming and bathing.
• Support mobility and transfers (bed to wheelchair).
• Prepare light meals and assist with feeding.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Offer companionship and emotional support.
• Perform light housekeeping.
• Monitor and report changes in client health or behavior.
