AAA Advantage Home Care is hiring in-home caregivers in Watervliet, MI and the surrounding area. This in-person, home-based role offers pay starting at $17.50 per hour with no prior certification or experience required. Medicaid enrollment for the person cared for is a qualification.

You will assist with daily activities, meal prep, and keep living spaces safe and comfortable while providing companionship and communication with healthcare professionals as needed.

Qualificações

• You're currently providing hands-on care for a family member in need.
• High school diploma or equivalent (caregiving training or certification is a plus)
• Understanding of the challenges, both physical and emotional, that come with caregiving
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient personality
• Able to stay calm in stressful moments and maintain confidentiality
• Basic first aid and CPR knowledge is a bonus

Responsabilidades

• Help your loved one with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and using the restroom
• Prepare nourishing meals and offer feeding assistance when necessary
• Keep their living space clean, safe, and comfortable
• Be a steady source of companionship and emotional encouragement
• Notice and share any changes in their health or mood with healthcare professionals
• Work together with other family members and care providers to ensure they receive the best possible support
