Qualifications

• Previous caregiving experience preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal skills and compassionate approach.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or in a team.
• Reliable transportation to client homes in Indianapolis.
• Background check and drug screening clearance required.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and companionship to seniors in their homes.
• Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Help with mobility and light housekeeping tasks.
• Monitor clients’ health and safety and report changes to appropriate personnel.
• Support clients’ emotional and social needs through conversation and activities.
• Follow care plans and maintain accurate documentation of care provided.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and the Home Instead team to ensure quality care.
