Job summary

Right At Home in Ashville, OH is hiring a compassionate Caregiver for dayshift in-home care. You will assist seniors and adults with daily activities, provide companionship, prepare meals, perform light housekeeping, and help with errands while maintaining a safe home environment.

We offer flexible scheduling, paid training, and weekly pay. Prior caregiving experience is preferred but not required, with CPR/First Aid a plus. Training and support are provided to help you succeed.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, dependable, and professional attitude.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• Current auto insurance (if transporting clients).
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and assist with transfers when necessary.
• Previous caregiving, home health, assisted living, or nursing home experience is preferred but not required.
• CPR and First Aid Certification are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility and transfers.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed.
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and linen changes.
• Provide medication reminders (no medication administration unless authorized).
• Escort clients to appointments and errands.
• Monitor and report changes in a client's condition.
• Maintain accurate documentation of services provided.
• Follow all company policies, HIPAA regulations, and client care plans.
• Promote a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment.
