Job summary

Right At Home – Ashville, OH is seeking a compassionate Caregiver / Home Health Aide to provide non-medical in-home care and companionship to seniors and adults with disabilities. You will help clients maintain independence through daily living assistance with respect and personalization.

Starting pay is $15.00 per hour, with flexible full-time or part-time schedules. No medication administration unless authorized; training and overtime opportunities are available, plus ongoing development and

Qualifications

• Compassionate, dependable, and professional attitude.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.
• Current auto insurance (if transporting clients).
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and assist with transfers when necessary.
• Previous caregiving, home health, assisted living, or nursing home experience preferred but not required.
• CPR and First Aid Certification are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed.
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and linen changes.
• Provide medication reminders (no medication administration).
• Escort clients to appointments and errands.
• Monitor and report changes in a client's condition.
• Maintain accurate documentation of services provided.
• Follow company policies and HIPAA regulations and client care plans.
• Promote a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment.
