Job summary

Legacy Home Care in the Twin Cities area is seeking a Home Health Aide (CNA, HHA, DSP, PCA, ILS) to provide compassionate in-home care. You will drive to clients' homes, spend meaningful time with each client, and support daily living activities.

We value reliability and empathy. Must be 18+, eligible to work in the U.S., have a valid driver's license and vehicle, willing to travel up to 35 miles, and commit to at least 10 hours weekly with one weekend shift.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Valid documentation to work in the U.S.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
• Willing to travel up to 35 miles from home to clients.
• 1+ year caregiving experience; CNA certification is a plus.
• Pass a caregiving knowledge quiz.
• Minimum availability of 10 hours per week, including 1 weekend shift.

Responsibilities

• Drive to clients' homes and spend at least 2 hours with each client.
• Build strong rapport with older adult clients through regular visits.
• Assist with bathing, dressing and daily living activities.
• Help maintain household cleanliness and provide hands-on care like transfers and therapeutic exercises.
